LE CHEMIN DU ROY (King’s Way)
Remnant of New France
The directors of Association des Mercier de l’Amérique du Nord are inviting you to join them on August 17 and 18, 2024, to discover a picturesque part of the historic Chemin du Roy which wanders through Portneuf Region, on the North bank of majestic Saint Lawrence River. Inaugurated along its entire length in 1737, the Chemin du Roy is depicted on the above engraving, created by James Pattison Cockburn, 1829 / Library and Archives Canada.
Participants to the gathering will be lodged at Econo Lodge LE CHAVIGNY, 11 rue des Pins, in Deschambault (Québec) G0A 1S0, (418) 286-4959.
About 20 rooms will be available for participants. When reserving your room, please mention that you are with “Mercier Family” group. For members in good standing, a drawing will be held and you can win your room free if you reserve your room at Econo Lodge LE CHAVIGNY before August 1st, 2024.
