Genealogical Research

One of the raisons d’être of a family association is to facilitate genealogical research on the family’s ancestors. AMAN maintains a database of Mercier ancestors including the spousal line. A genealogical dictionary is currently being created. The date of publication of this dictionary has not yet been determined. AMAN’s database is presently not accessible either by AMAN members or by the general public. Only a few authorized persons have access to it. AMAN accepts all genealogical and historical contributions from people who are interested in expanding this genealogical database for future generations. However, AMAN will provide and share certain genealogical information in exchange for any traceable information that is not already contained in the database. If you wish to obtain information on a line of descendants, please refer to the "Genealogy" section, and send by e-mail or letter a completed "Request Form".
